Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN - Telemetry for a Cardiovascular Prep and Recovery outpatient procedural area, requiring comfort with groin and wrist access site management and 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Outpatient procedural area within a Cardiovascular Prep and Recovery (CVPR) department
• 12-hour day shifts scheduled 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• Admits patients for cath and EP lab procedures, obtaining patient history
• Starts IVs and recovers patients post moderate sedation
• Monitors groin and wrist vascular access sites for bleeding and complications

Requirements

• Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry/CVPR specialty experience required
• Must be comfortable assessing, monitoring, and holding pressure on bleeding post-cath and EP lab access sites
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• Two professional references required for Missouri assignments
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
