Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology RN requiring an active NY RN license and prior critical care and IR procedural experience.
Details
- Work in a hospital's Interventional Radiology department
- Department includes 2 angiographic rooms, 1 small image-guided treatment room, and a dedicated fluoroscopic CT room
- Facility includes a 7-bed dedicated PACU and a 14-bed ambulatory recovery unit
- Services both inpatient and outpatient populations daily
- Performs a wide variety of procedures including angiography with balloon angioplasty or stent placement, embolization, drainage, tumor ablations, and image-guided biopsies
- Rotating on-call requirement
- Uses EPIC EMR
Requirements
- Active and clear NY RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Critical Care setting
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an Interventional Procedural Department (IR, Cardiology, Vascular Interventions, or Neuro IR)
- EPIC EMR experience required

- Scrubs are provided
- Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility may be eligible for local rate consideration
- Preferred candidates have prior travel experience, 5+ years in Critical Care, and 3+ years in an Interventional Procedural Department
