Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with robotic surgery experience and Epic proficiency for a 16-week contract in a busy surgical suite.
Details
- Work in the Main Operating Room, a 16-bed surgical suite operating 24/7
- Care for adult surgical patients across multiple specialties including ENT, Eyes, Urology, OBGYN, General, Orthopedic, Spine, Neuro, Plastics, Robotics, Vascular, and Chest
- Maintain a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- 16-week contract length
- Uses Epic EMR for charting
- One holiday coverage shift required per contract
Requirements
- Active and clear NY RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
- Experience with primarily adult patient population required
- Robotic surgery experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties
- Scrubs provided by the facility
- Travel experience preferred but not required
