Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2 years of experience in General Surgery and Ortho.
Details
- Work in the Main OR department of a hospital setting
- Neuro/Spine specialty with a focus on General Surgery and Ortho cases
- 24-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios
- Uses standard OR equipment
- Epic EMR system used
- 5x8-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Call requirements apply
Requirements
- Active RN license (AL or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), both AHA-issued
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in General Surgery and Ortho required
- Davinci Robot and Max Face experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide perioperative nursing care for general surgery and orthopedic patients in a comprehensive surgical care hospital
- Facility recognized for excellence in stroke care, cardiovascular services, and minimally invasive surgical care
- Navy scrub color required
- No T-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, or nail polish permitted
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- Local candidates are not accepted
