Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 1+ year of hospital or physician office experience for a PRN night shift hospital position.

Details

• Work in a hospital respiratory therapy department
• PM/night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• PRN nights schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• 36 hours per week
• May float to various units and a sister hospital nearby
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• RRT or CRT certification from NBRC
• New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP) required if applicable
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Minimum 1 year of hospital or physician office experience
• Computer literacy required
• Active NJ license required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care with emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices
• Support requests for continued supply of durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers
• Assist in patient training on proper inhaler use
• Set up patients with durable medical equipment
• Work closely with physicians as part of the care team
• Accepts local candidates at a lower rate
