Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring previous NICU experience and NRP certification.

• ,
• Work in the Neonatal ICU of a 60-bed hospital unit within a Women's & Children's facility
• Patient ratios of 2-3:1
• No unit techs available in the NICU
• Uses Philips monitors
• Documentation via Meditech and Centricity Perinatal
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Rotating weekend and holiday requirements
• Floating to comparable areas of high need may be required

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
• NRP must be Advanced 9th Edition
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Previous NICU experience required
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal ICU patients
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• Dress code requires navy or ceil blue, any shade of grey, or white scrubs with no long sleeves, watches, rings, or nail polish
• Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis
