Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2+ years of circulating experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room at a hospital surgery center and main OR
• Ambulatory case types may include sports medicine, ENT, GYN, GU, ophthalmology, plastics, general, oral, and minor vascular procedures
• 40-hour work week on a D/E rotation with 5x8-hour shifts
• Shift start times vary between 6:30a, 9a, and 11a depending on departmental needs
• No weekends, major holidays, or on-call required
• Must be willing to float between the Surgery Center and Main OR based on volume

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience circulating required
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• Must pass Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test A or B
• Two professional references required, including one at the manager level with a performance evaluation completed within the last 12 months
• Valid, non-expired driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide circulating and scrub support for a variety of ambulatory surgical procedures
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible for the local rate
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
