Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of XR/CT experience including trauma and stroke cases for a night shift hospital assignment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of XR/CT experience required
  • Trauma and stroke experience required
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent required
  • Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required
  • BLS certification required (AHA only)
  • ARRT certification required
  • Current State/District license required (License required if applicable)
  • Cerner experience required

Additional Information

  • Operate CT and radiographic equipment and processors, adjusting technical factors based on patient body habitus
  • Position patients correctly and review physician orders to obtain pertinent clinical data
  • Produce high-quality radiographs while minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self
  • Assist physicians during procedures including room preparation, supplies, and management of contrast reactions and codes
  • Schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes
  • Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
