Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift role performing both CT and X-ray procedures, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a valid WA state license.
Details
- III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
- Performs both CT and X-ray procedures during shift
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Night shift, 4x12 hours, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM with a 30-minute lunch around 11:30 PM
- Sole technologist covering both CT and X-ray after midnight
- No weekend shifts and no on-call requirements
- No floating between units required
- Uses Epic for charting
- Equipment may include GE, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba systems along with PACS
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT(CT) and ARRT(R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Valid compact state license required at time of submission (license required if applicable)
- Epic charting experience required
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Experience with image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
- Experience with abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
- Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
Additional Information
- Facility is a Short Term Acute Care, Level III Trauma Center
- Scrubs may be any color
- No parking fees
- Candidates must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront during the application process
- Local candidates may be accepted at a lower bill rate
- Radius requirement of 50 miles for local candidate consideration
- Former Providence permanent employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
- First-time travelers are considered for this position
- May be required to disclose prior work history with Providence facilities as part of the application process
