Description

American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Occupational Therapist for a trauma center setting, open to first-time travelers with Epic experience and Iowa state licensure.

Details

  • Outpatient therapy setting within a trauma center hospital
  • Patient population consists of adults aged 55 and older
  • Orientation occurs on Mondays
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Any level of previous experience accepted
  • Active Iowa state license required (license required if applicable)
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Child and Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter certification required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Completed skills checklist within 1 year of submission required
  • One supervisory reference/performance evaluation from within 2 years of employment or contract required

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Candidates must not have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months
  • Candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
  • Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
  • Limited to 1 day off request between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 regardless of holidays worked
