Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Days shift role requiring active ARRT or RCIS/CCI certification and 12 months of vascular procedure experience.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab-Interventional Vascular unit of a hospital setting
• Performs vascular procedures with approximately 25 cases per day
• Duties include scrub, circulate, and monitor responsibilities
• Days shift, 4x10 hour shifts starting at 7am, 40 hrs/week
• Call requirements: every 3rd evening and every 3rd weekend
• Required to float across campuses when needed
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Level I trauma center environment
• Call team covers two facilities with most emergencies handled at the primary site

Requirements

• Active ARRT or RCIS/CCI certification required
• Iowa Radiology license highly preferred, will consider candidates in the licensing process
• Active ARRT (R) required, ARRT (CI or VI) highly preferred
• Compact or IA state license required
• Minimum 12 months of vascular procedure experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor experience required
• Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
• Current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures required
• Peripheral vascular experience required
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred

Additional Information

• Responsible for scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during interventional vascular procedures
• Holiday coverage required for 1-2 of the 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN) are restricted from working travel assignments in other markets within 12 months of separation, unless they previously worked as a travel employee at UnityPoint Health
