Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active CA RN license and EPIC experience.
Details
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36-48 hours per week
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification required (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS accepted)
- ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience required
- BSN preferred
- Prior acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior disciplinary action on license permitted
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct nursing staff activities while coordinating care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and develop care plans
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote a safe and healing environment
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
- All required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
