Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring Level II Trauma experience and the ability to scrub total joints, neuro, hybrid vascular, and robotic cases.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule (4x10 hours), 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend requirement of 1 weekend per 6 weeks
• Optional holiday coverage and optional on-call
• No floating or blocked scheduling
• Epic charting system preferred
• Scrubs provided

Requirements

• Active RN license (PA or Compact) required
• BSN required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Must be able to scrub total joints, neuro, hybrid vascular, and robotic surgery cases
• Preferred experience in ortho, urology, endo, vascular, thoracic, neuro & neuro spine, bariatrics, plastics, ENT, podiatry, and transplant
• PA fingerprint clearance (Childline and FP results within 12 months) required
• Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate specialty experience
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a local rate differential
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• Fingerprinting must be completed within 1 week of signing, which may require travel over 100 miles
• RTO must be submitted at time of application, as time off after submission will not be accommodated
