Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring trauma experience and the ability to scrub total joints, neuro, hybrid vascular, and robotic cases.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule (3x12 hours), 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• No floating or blocked scheduling required
• Weekend requirement of 1 weekend per 6 weeks
• Holiday coverage is optional
• On-call is optional
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license (PA or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Must be able to scrub total joints, neuro, hybrid vascular, and robotic surgery cases
• Preferred experience in ortho, urology, endo, vascular, thoracic, neuro/neuro spine, bariatrics, plastics, ENT, podiatry, and transplant surgery
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Valid state license or certification required at time of consideration
• Valid professional references and copies of certifications required for consideration
• BSN required

• Scrubs are provided
• First-time travelers are accepted with appropriate experience
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a local rate differential
• PA fingerprints are required for compliance and may require travel to complete
