Description

American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Grapevine, TX requiring active TX/compact RN license and at least one year of inpatient acute care PACU experience.

Details

• Work in the PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) of a hospital setting
• 13-week travel assignment
• AM shift schedule with two possible position options: 34 hours/week (Tue 11:30-22:00, Wed 08:00-20:30, Thu 09:30-22:00) or 32 hours/week (Wed 09:30-22:00, Thu 10:30-22:00, Fri 10:30-21:00)
• On-call responsibilities required, including weekly overnight call and every 6th weekend call (Sat/Sun)
• Weekend and floating requirements apply

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required
• At least 1 year of inpatient acute care PACU experience required
• Flu vaccination mandatory with no exemptions granted
• Two professional references required

Additional Information

• Coordinate patient care delivery using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Deliver individualized, safe, and compassionate patient care through all phases of the PACU experience
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement integrated care plans
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
