Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with circulating, general, and robotic case experience for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
- 4-OR unit performing surgical cases
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Performs circulating duties for general and robotic surgical cases
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Day shift options include 4-10s (6:30A-5P or 7:30A-6P) or 5-8s (7:00A-3:30P or 7:30A-4:00P)
- Call requirements include 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
- No floating required
- Block scheduling not available
- 13-week assignment duration
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Driver's license with permanent home address matching ID required for consideration
- US Social Security Number required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide circulating RN support for general and robotic surgical procedures
- Scrubs are provided by the hospital
- One week of orientation approved for this role
- RTO requests must be less than one week and require manager approval
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted
- Travelers who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
