Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown/Intermediate Care position requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg telemetry experience and a WI or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Stepdown Intermediate Care unit of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes telemetry, CBI, orthopedic surgery, and general abdominal surgery cases
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- Required to work every third weekend with an EOH (every other holiday) rotation alongside staff
- May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), both must be AHA-issued
- Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg and telemetry nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide stepdown/intermediate level nursing care to patients recovering from telemetry, orthopedic, and general abdominal surgical procedures
- Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for candidates residing near the facility
- Local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate under facility radius policy
