Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring NIHSS, BLS, ACLS certifications and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Medical Surgical unit (Unit/Floor 4)
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with rotating weekends
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license (Mississippi or Compact) required
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
- No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to medical surgical patients on a 4th floor unit
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems facility within the past 2 years
- Requests for time off must be less than 1 week in duration
