Description

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Access RN for a day/night rotating IV Therapy position requiring active MA RN licensure and vascular access experience.

Details

• Work in the IV Therapy unit of a hospital setting
• Day/night rotating shift schedule
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (no pending or conditional licenses accepted)
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred; some facilities require AHA only)
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• 2+ years of vascular access experience required
• USGPIV experience preferred
• PICC troubleshooting experience preferred
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• Primary Source Verification of professional license required within 30 days of start (NURSYS and BON required)

Additional Information

• Perform vascular access procedures including PICC line placement, troubleshooting, and phlebotomy
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston may be considered at a reduced rate
• RTO must be disclosed prior to consideration
