Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or Compact RN license and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Variable mid and night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week across 3 days per week
• Weekend shifts required
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS (all AHA-issued and not expiring prior to start)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• Must not have pending license status at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy to patients
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor ongoing treatment plans and refer patients for further evaluation as needed
• Promote facility mission, vision, and values while adhering to service behavior standards
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
