Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) for a hospital-based night shift position requiring at least 2 years of experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy department
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
• Weekend shifts as needed
• May float to other CCF facilities as needed

Requirements

• CRT or RRT accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT required
• NBRC certification required
• BLS certification required
• Ohio RRT license required if applicable
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from assignments worked within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Accepts local candidates at the same rate
• Facility is smoke-free and nicotine-free with no exceptions
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) testing required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Background check hits of any kind will be reviewed by the facility, and license hits are not accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Candidates may extend assignments for up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to the facility
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be communicated during submission and interview
