Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down unit position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and 18 months of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Step Down unit of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Day shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license (permanent) or compact license required in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No open background check cases accepted
• No license hits accepted

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts allowed to achieve a passing score
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Assignments may extend up to 18 months, with a required 6-month break before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract
