Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring conscious sedation skills and ACLS certification.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology department located on the ground floor
- Care for patients undergoing invasive interventional radiology procedures
- 1:1 patient to RN ratio
- Uses Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, and Philips EPIQ ultrasound equipment
- Documents in EPIC EMR
- Schedule options include 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour day shifts
- Participates in an on-call rotation with 5 other RNs
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Comfortable performing conscious sedation under direct supervision of a radiologist
- Experience working in interventional radiology or Cath Lab setting preferred
- Background in ED or ICU setting preferred
Additional Information
- Work collaboratively with technologists and RNs to care for interventional radiology patients
- Confident, team-oriented personality is a strong fit for this role
- Monitor patient vitals during invasive procedures
- Light blue surgical scrubs are supplied by the facility
- Computer-based training and orientation completed prior to starting clinical work
- Local candidates are accepted at a reduced bill rate within a 50-mile radius
