Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and required Siemens equipment experience for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital setting.

Details

• >CT Tech position in a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma teaching hospital
• Adult Acute Care, Emergency Department, and ICU patient populations
• Performs Abdomen and Pelvis, Chest, Head and Neck, Spine, and Musculoskeletal CT imaging with and without contrast
• Special procedures include brain perfusion and vascular CTA studies
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and PACS imaging system
• Epic EMR system used for charting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with variable days of the week
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call requirement of 2 shifts per month
• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• >Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Siemens CT equipment experience required
• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required; ARRT (CT) preferred
• Active WA state radiology license required (license required if applicable)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Teaching hospital and Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Skills in contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required with no exceptions

• >Responsibilities include performing a range of CT imaging studies across abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal regions
• Solid color scrubs accepted; facility also provides light blue scrubs for use on unit
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate with no radius restriction
• Minimal RTO accommodated; time off cannot be requested during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Candidates who previously worked at the facility must have a minimum 18-month separation before returning as a traveler
