Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and required Siemens equipment experience for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital setting
• Adult acute care population across Emergency Department, ICU, and Level I Trauma settings
• Perform abdomen and pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal CT imaging with and without contrast
• Special procedures include brain perfusion and vascular CTA
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and PACS system
• Epic charting system preferred
• Night shift, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with variable days of the week
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call required 2 times per month
• Candidates will float within scope to meet facility needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred
• WA state radiology license required if applicable
• Level I Trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
• Peripheral IV starting skills preferred
• COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing a variety of CT imaging procedures for adult acute care, ED, ICU, and trauma patients
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no radius restriction
• Prior UW/Harborview staff must have an 18-month separation before returning as a traveler
• RTO should be kept to a minimum and cannot be requested during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Scrubs may be any solid color; light blue scrubs are also provided on-unit
