Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of recent specialty experience and active RRT licensure for a hospital-based night shift assignment.
Details
- Work in the Respiratory Care/Diagnostic Services department of a hospital
- 13-week contract assignment
- 12-hour night shift, 7pm-7:30am, with varying schedule
- 3 shifts per week, 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- Occasional weekend work required
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience within specialty
- Active GA RRT license required if applicable
- NBRC-RRT certification required
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
- Returning staff who previously worked at the facility must have a 2-year break in service before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be requested prior to accepting an offer and cannot be requested afterward
