Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring Cerner experience and a compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Main Hospital unit of a hospital setting
- Medical-Surgical patient population with a 6:1 patient ratio
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 3/2 split schedule with 4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the next
- Alternating weekend requirement
- Overtime applies after 48 hours worked
- 8-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
- Cerner EMR experience required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide direct medical-surgical nursing care within a hospital environment
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
