Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with a valid CA RN license and at least 2 years of experience for a circulating role supporting multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room unit
• Circulating RN duties for General Surgery, GYN, Orthopedic, Urology, Plastic, ENT, and Robotic cases
• Day shift schedule, 4x8-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA or ARC only)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Nursys license verification uploaded within the last 2 weeks
• 2 professional references obtained within the past year
• 7-year work history verification required

Additional Information

• Perform circulating RN duties across a variety of surgical specialties
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at the local rate
• Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
• Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Holiday periods are defined as beginning at 7:00 PM the night before and ending at 7:00 AM the day after the holiday
• Lab work must be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing
• All compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date
