Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of Hybrid OR and extensive endovascular experience for a Level I Trauma Center teaching hospital.

- >, Interventional Radiology unit within a Hybrid OR / Special Procedures setting
- 820 staffed beds
- 4x10 day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional late shifts scheduled per unit needs
- Flexible on-call schedule of roughly 8 shifts per month, varies with rotation
- Holiday call may be required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- No scrubbing required for this role
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Hybrid OR experience required
- Extensive endovascular experience including FEVAR/PMEG, EVAR, TEVAR, AAA/TAA, angiograms, declots, lysis, stenting, embolization, and TAVRs
- Greater than 1 year of experience with Zeego and Pheno systems required
- Experience with Penumbra, AngioJet, Shockwave, IVUS, Jet Stream, and Medrad required
- BLS certification required
- ARRT certification required, if applicable
- EPIC charting experience required
- Knowledge of PACS and Siemens hybrid/advanced vascular features required
- Familiarity with Siemens Portable C-Arm functions including digital subtraction, road mapping, and measurements required
- Familiarity with vascular supplies such as balloons, diagnostic catheters, wires, and sheaths required
- Prior travel experience required
- Teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
- Must be able to work independently and under pressure in a high-acuity environment
- Driver's license required for consideration

- Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital
- Radiation badge required and will be provided by the agency
- First-time travelers are not preferred for this position
- Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis
- 60-mile radius rule applies for local candidate consideration
- Block scheduling may be accommodated pending manager approval based on unit needs
- During hurricane season (June through November, peaking August-September), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
