Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and 2+ years of medical setting experience for a critical access hospital in a scenic coastal Alaska location.

Details

  • Critical access hospital (CAH) setting supporting both acute and long-term care
  • Primarily inpatient acute care with potential support in long-term care
  • Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations
  • Uses TruBridge - Evident EMR for charting
  • Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00am-4:30pm with some flexibility
  • 8-hour day shifts
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist required
  • Prior experience in a medical setting preferred
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) via ASHA required
  • Active Alaska SLP license required in hand at time of consideration
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Located in Homer, Alaska on the scenic Kachemak Bay
  • Housing provided at no cost, or candidates may opt for a housing per diem to arrange their own accommodations
