Description
American Traveler is hiring a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR and neuro experience for a role at a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology department with a focus on Neuro IR procedures
- Daily caseload of 4-5 cases per technologist
- 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- On-call required every 5th weekend and one night per week, with a 30-minute response radius
- No floating to sister facilities or other units required
- Uses Epic EMR system
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology and Neuro IR
- BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
- ARRT VI certification required
- ACLS and CCI RCIS certifications preferred
- License required if applicable
- Agency must supply radiation badge, as the facility does not provide one to travelers
- First-time travelers accepted
Additional Information
- Located at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
- Facility provides scrubs
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November, peak August-September), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
- Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local
- Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the facility for 1 year before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration
