Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a MICU position requiring 1 year of recent ICU experience and current NIH Stroke Certification.

Details

  • Hospital-based Medical ICU (MICU) setting
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active RN license (LA state or compact) required
  • BLS and ACLS certification from AHA or ARC, not expiring within 30 days of start
  • Current NIH Stroke Certification required for ICU/MICU placement
  • Minimum 1 year of recent MICU/ICU experience required
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
  • One professional reference required

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing to medically complex ICU patients
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
