Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit / CCU-Telemetry position on night shift, requiring active TX or compact RN licensure and NIH Stroke Certification.
Details
- Work in the CCU/Telemetry unit, including COVID patient care
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting handling cardiac and telemetry patients
- Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
- NIH Stroke Certification required for Tele/PCU placement
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry/PCU specialty
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for FL and MO candidates)
Additional Information
- Provide continuous cardiac monitoring and nursing care for telemetry and progressive care patients
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
