Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Free Standing Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and TNCC certification.
Details
- Work in a Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED) setting
- 13-week assignment with an 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM shift
- Every other weekend required
- On-call requirements apply
- 36 guaranteed hours
- Floating required as needed
- Uses Meditech documentation system
Requirements
- Active RN license (Texas or Compact); temporary licenses will not be accepted
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience with 2+ years in the ER specialty
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
- Meditech experience preferred
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- Royal blue scrubs required for RNs
- Nails must be clean and healthy with no artificial enhancements
- Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
- Body art should be covered whenever possible
- Visible piercings other than ears are not permitted
- Facility follows a company-wide attendance policy
