Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a MS/Tele-PCU night shift position requiring 2 years of experience and floating between units.

Details

• Work in the MS/Tele and PCU units of a short-term acute care teaching hospital
• Level IV trauma facility with 87 staffed beds
• Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required between MS/Tele and PCU units based on facility needs
• Uses Cerner charting system
• Standard med surg/tele equipment utilized
• Liko lifts available in nearly all patient rooms

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted AZ RN license or valid compact license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, 3 years preferred
• ICU/PCU experience preferred, strong MS/Tele experience also considered
• Skills in respiratory care, cardiac monitoring, and medication management preferred

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within a flex pool, floating to units based on skills and census needs
• Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards including medication administration (BCMA)
• Navy blue scrubs required
