Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification and Siemens equipment experience for an evening shift assignment.

Details

• Tech position within a hospital-based CT Scan department supporting adult and outpatient care
• Work performed across Level II Trauma Center, Emergency Department, ICU, and acute care settings
• 5x8 hour evening shifts, Monday through Friday, from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
• Utilizes Siemens CT equipment
• EPIC EMR used for charting
• Performs procedures including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine, and vascular imaging studies
• Special procedures include biopsies, aspirations, drainage, brain perfusion, and CT arthrography
• May float to any campus within the health system as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Siemens equipment experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Experience with iSTAT, Power Ports, and PPAC required
• Proficiency in peripheral IV starts and contrast media preparation/administration required
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Pediatric acute and outpatient care experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include image display and post-processing, 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurements
• Performs a wide range of CT studies including coronary CTA, colonography, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• All clinical staff must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered but must be able to quickly acclimate and begin the assignment within one week of the start date
