Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT Technologist with 3+ years of experience and CT Registry certification to support IP, OP, and ER patients.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Scan department supporting inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients
- Night shift, 4x10 schedule from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
- Every weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Uses GE equipment and Epic EMR
- May float as required by facility policy
- Night shift staff orient on day shift, requiring full-week availability during orientation
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience
- CT Registry required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Must be able to adapt and work effectively with many people in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologists and physicians, including interventional and special procedures such as biopsy, ablation, myelography, and arthrography
- Assist radiologists during special CT procedures and provide essential patient care throughout
- Apply radiation safety principles in daily practice
- Organize the daily CT schedule and serve as a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift
- Black scrubs required
- Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1, with no declinations accepted
- Facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center, Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Level 1 STEMI Center
- Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, with make-up time required during the assignment
