Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Endoscopy position requiring 2 years of endo RN experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Work in the Endoscopy department of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 36 hours per week across 4 days, 9-hour shifts
- Call requirement of 1 weekend plus 5 days (including one Monday and one Friday) within a 10-week period
- Uses Epic EMR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum 2 years of endoscopy RN experience required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care for endoscopy patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and patient families to support care needs
- Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions
- Provide patient and family education related to care, treatment, and discharge planning
- Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and serve as a mentor/preceptor
- Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
- Comply with regulatory standards and organizational practice governance model
