Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical Step-Down unit requiring a minimum of 1 year of critical care or step-down experience and an active OH or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Medical Step-Down unit of a hospital environment
- Care for patients requiring medical step-down level of care
- 13-week assignment
- Choice of 12-hour day shifts (7am-7pm) or night shifts (7pm-7am)
- Holiday and weekend rotation required
- No guaranteed hours
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association only
- Minimum of 1 year critical care or step-down experience required
- BSN or other Magnet-recognized professional certification preferred
- 2 years critical care or step-down experience preferred
