Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Inpatient Rehab position requiring an active IL RN license and at least 2 years of experience.
Details
- Work in the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit of a hospital setting
- High neuro patient population with stroke care emphasis
- Perform similar duties to a medical floor, excluding Heparin drips
- Day shift schedule
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license required
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Stroke certification preferred but not required
Additional Information
- Assess patients' mental, physical, and spiritual needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Provide patient and family education and instructions
- Recognize and report changes in patient condition using clinical judgment
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records
- Participate in continuing education opportunities
- Contribute to a positive workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management
- Work within a nationally recognized health system known for excellence in cancer, cardiac, stroke, bariatric, breast imaging, and rehabilitation services
