Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN with 2 years of recent experience across at least 3 cath lab service lines for a 13-week travel assignment in Anchorage, AK.
Details
- Hospital-based Cath Lab unit located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building
- Unit is equipped with 3 Philips labs and staffed by a team of 20
- Cases span EP, IR, Neuro, Vascular, and Cardiac service lines
- Day shift teams run Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM in 10-hour shifts
- Teams typically consist of 3 members, with 4-person teams used for certain complex cases
- Uses Philips c-arms and Merge Vericis hemodynamic monitoring systems
- Utilizes Epic EMR
- Night shift and weekend coverage is provided through an on-call rotation
Requirements
- Active AK RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required
- Experience in at least 3 of the following service lines required: EP, IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac
- Experience in 4 service lines preferred
- Flexible, self-starter personality with the ability to take direction
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Facility provides scrubs for staff
- Unit-specific guidelines and policies covered during department orientation
- On-call rotation shared among staff for nights and weekends
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel role
