Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift CT Technologist with 2+ years experience and ARRT CT certification for an adult acute care and emergency department setting.

Details

• : CT Tech unit supporting adult acute care and emergency department patients
• Performs studies including abdomen, chest, vascular chest, head, and specialty procedures such as brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, myelography, and spine/musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Utilizes Siemens and Philips CT equipment
• Epic EMR required, Allscripts preferred
• Night shift, 5x8 hours, with start times varying between 15:00-23:30 and 19:00-3:30
• Weekend shifts may be required based on unit needs
• No floating required

Requirements

• : experech Radiology
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Active California license required at submission (license required if applicable)
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT CT, ARRT R; ARRT advanced certification preferred
• Experience with adult acute care and emergency department patient populations
• Proficiency in starting peripheral IVs
• Experience performing aspirations, biopsies, drainage procedures, and multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)
• References required for consideration

• Perform CT imaging studies with and without contrast across abdomen, chest, head, and vascular regions
• Conduct specialty procedures including brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, myelography, and cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Time off requests must be submitted upfront with initial application
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
• Return staff reviewed on a case-by-case basis
• Smoke and nicotine-free facility; candidates must arrive free of tobacco odor
• Advanced EKG exam required prior to start, with two attempts permitted and an 80% minimum passing score
