Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and 1+ years of experience for a Level II Trauma Center.
Details
- CT Tech unit within a hospital setting
- Adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ED, and ICU patient populations
- Level I and Level II Trauma Center experience
- Uses GE scanners and PACS system
- Epic charting system experience required
- Night shift, 4x10 hours, Wednesday-Tuesday
- Weekday hours 19:45-06:15 and weekend hours 18:45-06:15
- Works alongside other night shift technologists
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience required
- ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Epic charting experience required
- Level II Trauma Center experience required
- Level I Trauma Center and teaching/community hospital experience preferred
- Proficiency in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
- Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
- Skilled in peripheral IV starts and venipuncture
- Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
Additional Information
- Perform a range of CT imaging studies including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest studies
- May perform special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, drainage, coronary CTA, and vascular CTA
- Complete required orientation modules, which are renewed annually
- Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
- First-time travelers may be considered
