Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and Louisiana or compact license.
Details
- Respiratory therapy unit setting
- Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:45-7:15)
- Weekend coverage every other weekend
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- No call-in requirement
Requirements
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- CRT or RRT certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Compact or Louisiana license required in hand upon submission
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
- Must be an experienced Respiratory Therapist; new grads not accepted
- First-time travelers will be considered
Additional Information
- May be assigned to an Emergency Team during declared emergency events, requiring the traveler to remain onsite until the event passes or a relief team arrives
- Orientation held five days a week
- Candidates must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing if booked with a pending license
- Two Manager/Supervisor references (not Charge RNs) required prior to starting contract, though not required for initial submission
- Facility does not accept local candidates and requires candidates to live 65+ miles from the facility
- Requested time off (RTO) must be included on the candidate profile and discussed during the interview
- Previous permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from the facility for one full year before returning as a traveler
