Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of L&D experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Works 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week for 36 hours weekly
Required to work every other weekend
Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

Provide safe, effective, patient and family-centered care to Labor & Delivery patients
Perform patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff members
Serve as a mentor and preceptor to other staff
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and patients' families to support care planning and discharge needs
Participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
Comply with regulatory standards and organizational practice governance model
