Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position in AZ requiring 2 years of experience and an active AZ or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit caring for adult Med-Surg, Observation, and Telemetry Med/Surg patients
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7am, with set schedules
• Med-Surg/OBS patient ratio of 1:6 and Step Down ratio of 1:4
• Uses Meditech EMR, Alaris pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing system
• Call required, with option to take call during low census periods alongside full-time staff
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Med-Surg and Telemetry experience required
• Step down experience preferred but not required
• Flu vaccine required with no exceptions

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across Med-Surg, Observation, and Telemetry patient populations
• Candidates must live outside a 100-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• No more than 3 days of RTO may be requested per 13-week contract
