Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring ARRT-CT certification and at least 2 years of recent CT experience.
Details
- Level 2 trauma center CT Scan department
- Patient population includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients from emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services
- Performs trauma stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine CT exams
- Uses Siemens CT scanners
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week (Fri/Sat/Sun 7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
- 13-week contract length
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in CT specialty
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT-CT certification required
- License required if applicable
- Level 2 trauma center experience
Additional Information
- Operates computerized tomography equipment to produce diagnostic images of designated body regions
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
- Returning staff who previously worked permanent positions must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
