Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN requiring at least 2 years of recent OR experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Surgery unit of a hospital operating room setting
- 13-week contract assignment
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Schedule varies between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM
- On-call requirements apply
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through AHA
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the Operating Room specialty required
Additional Information
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
