Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an evening shift assignment requiring 3+ years of experience and CT Registry certification.

Details

• >Works within the CT Scan department, supporting inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient populations
• Evening shift schedule, 5x8, from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
• Every weekend work required
• No call requirements
• Uses GE equipment and Epic EMR
• Floats as required by facility policy
• Night shift orients on day shift, requiring availability for the full orientation week

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience required
• CT Registry certification and BLS from AHA required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to perform diagnostic CT scans and assist with interventional and special procedures such as biopsy, ablation, myelography, and arthrography
• Must apply principles of radiation safety
• Must be able to adapt and work well with a variety of people and teams

Additional Information

• Provide diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologists and performing physicians
• Assist radiologists in performing special CT procedures and delivering essential patient care
• Serve as a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift and help organize the daily schedule
• Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1, with no declinations accepted
• Black scrubs required
• Local candidates accepted
