Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care telemetry experience and a CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a hospital Telemetry/Med Surg with PCU unit
- 32-bed unit with typical staffing of 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter per shift
- Patient ratios of 4-5:1
- Uses GE Telemetry monitoring system
- Charts in Meditech EMR
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience required
- Experience caring for post-op CABG patients preferred
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- Experience performing IV starts, foley starts, and chest tube removal
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Outgoing team players who take initiative are best suited for this unit
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
